Why this season is a FLOP

got 900 hours in the game and won’t be touching this season after 5hours of game time

1. Banners are useless and aren’t “content” - they were a waste of engineering/design effort because they do not provide ANY new exciting things to do, or fix any of the issues that make the game feel stale/boring/unrewarding after reaching a certain level of progress

2. Gameplay loop is still boring and loot unrewarding, no dopamine/adrenaline

3. Extracts still feel meaningless, finding something of value isn’t satisfying because it is way too easy to have a 100% extraction rate by simply running to the exit if you’re not a complete noob

4. ZERO POI’s were introduced this Season, even though it was mentioned by multiple devs during last seasons that “it is coming - we’re cooking”. nothing changed gameplay wise. Every raid feels the exact same as it did last season - extraction mode got utterly neglected and it shows

Ask yourselves, why would anyone that has played before come back to this game now?

It’s obvious that this season was made to please “new players”, but why would new players STAY on this game in the first place if the underlying issues that have been in the game since EA launch are still there and veterans from previous seasons aren’t coming back? The goal should be to have a high returning player rate AND aquire new players. If you disappointing your existing playerbase (which is already small) there is no reason why this game would ever thrive in the first place.

The only new content that was added is the campaign system, which is a good step in the right direction, but the underlying issues still remain the same as the last 2 seasons:

• no poi’s inside the main game mode

• boring loot across ALL maps

• gameplay loop is not satisfying, not enough dopamine across all activities in the game

• extracting is too easy and doesn’t feel rewarding, no adrenaline anywhere to be found

• UI is terrible, especially in the lodge

• UX is even worse, stash management feels terrible. STILL NO AUTOSORT????

  • veterans (who at this point are 90% of your playerbase) will STILL have stash problems 2 weeks into the season and it will feel like a chore having to sort the stash after every raid

• you’ll fight the same players every single raid because there isn’t enough players. MERGE some of the servers already or remove even more queues.
