Whats fun? $$ and Whats just PURE RAGE frustration and a turn off?

hey team… longtime player here (since season 0). first off: Legacy IS awesome. atmosphere hits, animations feel clean, maps look great, and both PvE and PvP have that crunchy, “one more run…” feel. love that. but as a casual extraction enjoyer who just wants to log in, bonk enemies, snag loot, and chase pvp when I hear it… a couple loops keep tripping me up and causing me to RAGE QUIT:

1. keys, keys, keys… and more keys
   I need a key for the gate… and the chest… and the farmhouse… and the “uh oh you thought this was openable” door. the keymaster loop just isn’t fun. I get that “some keys” add some tension and reward planning, but right now it feels like a time sink that takes me out of the action. suggestion: if a door/chest needs a key, let the nearby mob drop it 1:1 like a prison guard, elite sentry, mini-boss. kill → loot → door opens. clean, satisfying.… because right now it’s like I’m playing Key Inventory Manager 2025. not the fantasy NOT FUN!!!!!

2. lodge upgrades & barter - WTF IS THIS MADNESS!!!!
   I love the idea of the lodge. upgrading my home is a nice touch… but the path there feels like a spreadsheet puzzle with extra steps. rarity gates + trade chains + barter + glint micro math up on trade, micro math down on a trade = a lot of overhead for folks who just want to fight, extract, and repeat. the loop becomes “optimize menus” instead of “slay goblins.” suggestion: TORCH THE ENTIRE BARTER SYSTEM FOR UPGRADES or….
   • flatten the upgrade tree: fewer steps, clearer milestones, bigger, punchier unlocks
   • reduce barter hops: 2 steps max
   • let action fuel progress: “turn in X trophies from dungeon mobs” or “defeat horde events” to push lodge tiers. give me challenges I can solve with a sword, NOT WITH A CALCULATOR
   

the fantasy (at least for me): log in… slay stuff… gear up… see a fight… third-party or duel… barely extract with shaky hands… upgrade something meaningful… queue again. when upgrades and access feel like a labyrinth, it slows the whole heartbeat of the game.

I’m saying all this because the core of Legacy is fun. if keys and lodge/barter got streamlined, the casual flow would feel WAY smoother, and more of us would stick around longer each night. thanks for reading, appreciate the grind you all put in… now please let me bonk goblins instead of spreadsheets
