PVE vs PVP modes

PVP modes (including Arena) need to be the focus here.

I find the PVE drop rate undermines the core idea of this game - extraction PVPVE. In its current state, PVE is designed as a means of escape (from PVP). It should be designed/viewed more as an advanced tutorial - a progression from Goldbrook. Not a solution to gear fear, scared of PVP, etc.

Players should want to move on to the PVP maps, so they can progress in gearing, leveling, etc.

Imo game should be PvP only, but for new players the problem is not PvP but full loot drop, whenever you try to learn it.

Frankly, a game thats averaging 500-1000 players daily, with an already split RAWR PVP IS BETTER … NO PVE IS BETTER community… is going to struggle period since the community can’t agee and/or support the devs vision and try to get the whole game in a moving forward direction is inevitably going to struggle and stunt growth. Community is what drives the growth of a game, and been playing less than a week now, and this community while generally pleasant towards each other… are very much toxic on the pvp vs pve split where both sides are convinced they are right and it has to be a hard focus one way or another.. A game can, thrive and succeed on a hybrid style if the community can rally behind and help that direction vs trying to force their particular play style preference.

Hard disagree. PvE is the superior experience and currently hard carrying the game. If anything PvE should have the same drop rates as PvP maps so PvP is truly for those who want a fair fight and not just a way to fake flex killing newbies.
