Marketplace / Auctionhouse
Implement it.
There is nothing that gives more content to an extraction game then a Marketplace.
There is no reason to not implement it, we already have a trading point in the discord and we can savetrade in Goldbrook now.
Give Gold/Glint or w/e currency we will use to buy stuff out of the Marketplace a reason to exist.
It’s really something that would enhance the enjoyment of the game for an insane amount.

A trade channel would be all I ask for, and don’t allow us to trade in Goldbrook, force us to have the risk of trading items in PvP maps. Being able to trade items in Goldbrook ruins the adrenaline of having to hoof it out safely so you don’t lose your items.

I don’t think an auction house would be good for the game. Auction houses in games lead to botting and gold selling. I’d rather keep it the bartering system we have in the discord.

I understand the dislike for auction house, but i want to explain the benefit of having an auction house, without starting a discussion, just stating the benefits from my perspective:
- Auction house lowers the barrier to progression and gives casual players more options
- Even if a casual player extracts with junk loot, wrong armor items etc., they can sell it on the auction house. That means they always make progress toward bigger goals, even in shorter sessions.
- Some players enjoy trading more than fighting. An auction house lets casual players play the “merchant fantasy”. (This is something most of the “NO” guys hate, but it’s basically a +1 in playercount and someone that will join the extraction to farm stuff to sell.)
But i agree with the point that any integration needs to be worked out well to deny manipulation, bots, rmt, etc.
I also would want that the auction house adds to the game loop instead of replacing or breaking it.

I agree this would make the game even more amazing. I would love this, however, only if implemented with advanced bot / gold buying detection. In the games current form everyone would just buy a 2nd account, bot the PvE map 24/7 and then trade their main account the gold so they can just buy purple sets or w/e. Which will in turn ruin the game instead of uplift it and devalue gear/gold/glint for everyone who isnt buying it. We see it happen in classic wow ect. Marketplace with advanced bot detection although and actually banning for it….. I don’t think I’d play another game in my life.
