In our current season we are getting newer players and Death match was a great way for me to learn the mechanics and keep the game engaging. It is also seen as our true end game content for the seasons by the community (Discord pvp aside)

For now:

BYOG death match seems to be unfair as newer players have not had a chance to farm the necessary gear to compete as of yet.
Presets however do not provide enough class tools and consumables for the victor of the matches into round 2.

As much as the community enjoy duos and trios i think until the official release of the reworked tdm 1 v 1’s would make the most sense. The weekends may be a space that duos and trios make more sense to implement at the moment.

For NA I think the current time slots are working well for TDM however the time slots for EU may need to span their typical end of work day across the eu time zones. (I will leave the time slots for EU up to the EU folks).

Long term:

There should exist a space for both byog and presets to exist going forward. Players who have spent time farming gear in extracts need to have a meaningful space for their gear farming to have purpose in Death Matches.

Stating the obvious we need Ranking systems which I am sure is being implemented

BYOG

• Byog going forward should probably cost a piece of the gear going to the winner. This way it entices a more risky way to engage in death matches.

• Gear match making would ideally be implemented in the background to pair players with their peers gear wise.

Presets

• We would like the fights to be round based in a best of 3 where the winner of each round has all of their consumables and tools refunded.

• We would like to have the ability to select from all available gear to equip for that match at the beginning of that match and the tools and consumables we would like.

Rewards:

Leader boards are of course their own reward and BYOG being more risky should come with something dopamine heavy. I would like to suggest the leader have a statue somewhere on a map for the season or somewhere that makes sense.
