How this game should continue to pivot into success.

The PVE maps are a success, but my thoughts are this is a band-aid fix, and will result short-lived success if something isn’t done.

PVP maps are easily the most crowded, because the game is still too brutal for casual/new players. The crowded PVE maps are not a true success. Casuals players DO want to PVP, but NOT at the costs currently implemented.

I believe the PVE loop will be exhausted faster than new content can be developed.

How to potentially solve the stale PVE game play loop and continue pivoting into success:

Turn GWD/GWN into soft-loot pvp maps. Only loot in bags are dropped on death, and perhaps (a chance to drop) one piece of loot being worn. This gives players a choice to PVP with less costs.

Higher tier maps like crypts and future maps, should be full-loot PVP. All gear and bags are dropped on death.

Focus less on new maps, and more on instanced based PVE, similar to WoW dungeons and Morthag’s lair.

If the game grows enough to justify server maintenance costs, eventually keep maps persistent and remove time limits on maps to capture the MMO feel.
