Game Freezing
Game is literally unplayable.
Yet again, in another season, there is a bug that makes the game unplayable.
Twice now in the last 24 hours I have been in a raid solo, my game freezes, I close it and quickly restart it hoping the trash mob in front of me hasn’t killed me yet, and I log back in to find myself in the home screen wearing the starter junk gear and all the loot I gathered is gone.
Now I can’t enter ANY kind of raid with my stronger gear or good keys, regardless of which map it is or whether it’s pvp or non-pvp, because of the risk to just randomly lose it all to the game freezing/crashing.
How in the official launch, after nearly an entire year of not just QA (assumedly there is a QA team) but literal early-access play-tester feedback, is there no system in place to prevent losing gear/loot to crashing…
This reminded me of the bug I (and a few others) experienced two seasons back where the stash inventory would delete everything new that was deposited into it. Meaning any raid I did all the loot I extracted could not be stashed. How can you play an extraction game when you have nowhere to store the loot you extracted?
Their solution was for us to wait until the next season when everything got wiped, and hope that the bug didn’t occur again.
And now there’s this…
Unplayable.

Adding on, I originally thought it was an AMD issue but its both CPU’s. See thread

TLDR;

I did some logging and analysis of the issue: Log analysis shows:
Zero GPU errors (no Xid, no Vulkan device lost, no semaphore stalls)
The game crashes internally with:
LogScript: Warning: A null object was passed as a world context object to UEngine::GetWorldFromContextObject()This is an Unreal Engine script error in the game's code, not a driver or system problem
The game uses a WebSocket connection to online services (
edge.p.honor.noto.gg) — network interruptions may also trigger the hangnorwnd

In attempts to consolidate the amount of post about this topic, I am adding to this one.
for past few days if im in a map 80% of the time my game random hard locks and gives me no logs, no crash report nothing I have to manually shut down the process. I dont even bother crafting gear, or getting get anymore I go in naked and hope I get more than 5mins of play on a map before i lock up. Browsing discord this seems to be a common issue. Especially with the new players.
Not attempting to do anyones job, but Seems common factors are NVIDIA GPUS and AMD CPUS based on reports from discord. I also noticed (at least the ones taking time to report in discord) this is effecting new players a lot.
This issue should be one of the top priorities… Since its making the game literally unplayable for a significant amount of players ( I say that cause even if its 100 of us, thats 10% of your player base unable to play)

Not even 12 hours later my game froze again, and now I’ve lost everything for no good reason AGAIN.
It really is a shame because the combat is fun and the enemies are challenging, but this completely invalidates any progression I make by taking the hard earned gear/loot and throwing it away at no fault of my own.
No mobs swarming and killing me, no rat pvp’er waiting for the opportunity to strike, just a simple freeze/crash can completely ruin hours or even days (purples and legendries) of work.
GG you’ve gotten my money, but you’ve lost my support and my interest.

They should be investigating this thoroughly. But you also gotta understand these kinds of bugs can be very very hard to debug.
