Dying to fall damage in PvE

Let’s say you fall off a ledge - you should either respawn as you do in the lair - or not, and then in lair you shouldn’t - but i am beyond bored of having to grind for my gear because of this stupid mechanic. Either spawn me back on the edge, or make it so we can rebuy our blue gear - not just green.
