Deathmatch solution to lack of gear

Instead of running either BYOG or presets we could give players an option to either BYOG or play in a legendary preset by changing the mode from Solos to Solos Preset and both the modes queue into the same games. Ungemmed legendary is worse than normal purple gear so it wouldn’t be unbalanced but it would give new players or players without gear for a class they want to try out a fair chance and also simplify BYOG vs preset.

Arena is probably coming soon but I am not sure what it will be like.
