Chronicle progressing not updating

I am doing the greenwood day chronicle steps, first I thought that I have to finish the first one first to be able to start the next one, but it seems like you can do any of the steps at any time.

In any case, the progress does not actually account for what you are doing, or if it does it’s bugged and very inconsistent.

Just now I killed the ogre, brought out 11 Goblin ears and 32 bone dust, yet NONE of this progress actually went into the chronicle.

The progress that did get updated in the chronicle is “Kill Skeletons” and that’s about it.

This goes for pretty much all of the chronicles, I’ve already crafted health potions, cooked baked potatoes etc. so many things and they all don’t get accounted for.
